Obama Change And Promises

Posted by alhavakia on March 5, 2009

President Obama ran on a Platform of ‘Change’ for America. Change you can believe in – big changes for America. And, I mean to tell ya, he’s doing just that. With estimates of 2.5 Trillion dollars of lost stock market value since our President of “change” took office – one couldn’t say it was pocket change.

And what about those promises of no more pork barrel projects making their way into the budget? I guess those 9,000 that managed to sneak their way through and got approved as part of the $431 billion House Democratic spending bill, were just chump change for the man with slick words to notice?

America is going down a one way street with a dead end sign. If the citizens of this country don’t start demanding the change we were promised, there will be no United States of America by the time our fine president in done. As it stands, we are blindly accepting a transformation into the United Socialist Society of America.

Panic is sweeping our nation, fear is running high. People do stupid things when they react with panic and fear. Will we recognize this country by year’s end? Will there be a country left? Will President Obama have the distinction of being the last president as well?

The American Automotive industry is being wiped out. One in eight homes that carry a mortgage face foreclosure, over 600,000 workers filed for unemployment benefits for the fifth week in a row. Companies, of fifty years strong, are being brought to their knees. Americans are losing everything they have worked a lifetime to save.

If that’s not enough change for you, then consider the change to our rights. Yes people, we are losing more rights with each passing day. Here’s one for you: gun_control_bill1

Yep, that sounds like big change to me. My question now – how much more “change” can we take?
